  •        The Uptown Loop: Stops along the Uptown Loop include Central Park, the Lincoln Center theater district, Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Avenue, the American Museum of Natural History, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the Apollo Theater, Harlem, and the world-famous attractions along Museum Mile, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Solomon R. Tours take place aboard comfortable double-decker buses, with unlimited hop-on hop-off opportunities along the Uptown, Downtown, and Brooklyn Loops.

Some important notes about the Gray Line hop-on hop-off bus in New York:

  •        Tickets are validated by exchanging your confirmation email for a boarding ticket at the Gray Line Visitor Center, located at 777 8th Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets in Manhattan.
  •        All tours originate from the Gray Line Visitor Center, but customers can board the bus at any stop along any of the four routes.
  •        Your 48-hour access begins when you board the bus for the first time.
  •        Tickets for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry and the Empire State Building observatory can be used at any time during the 48-hour period.
  •        Visitors can access the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry from the Downtown Loop stop at Battery Park.
  •        Visits to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building are not guided.
  •        We recommend allowing two to three hours to see the Statue of Liberty and three to four hours to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island during peak periods, including the summer months and Christmas holiday season.

Some additional pieces of information to keep in mind in regards to the Ellis Island ferry:

  •        Your All Loops Tour pass gives you access to the ferry, helping you save time by avoiding the long lineups to purchase tickets from the booth. However, All Loops Tour pass holders must still line up to board the ferry.
  •        The ferry departs from Battery Park approximately every 20 minutes between 9:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Frequency is subject to change and may be reduced during the winter.
  •        The ferry has two stops: Liberty Island (the Statue of Liberty), and Ellis Island. It then loops back to the origination point at Battery Park.

Please note that tickets purchased online are non-refundable, and that we are unable to offer refunds for unused portions of the tour. This hop-on hop-off bus in New York runs all year, with departures between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., depending on the loop.
