Can I bring food and drinks into the Park?
Please note the following guidelines for bringing food and drink into our Parks:
Acceptable items:
Bottled water (maximum 2 liters)
Small snacks
Any food required for special dietary needs
Any food required for medical purposes and medically-indicated nutritional supplements
Baby food/baby formula
Soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5” wide x 6” high x 6” deep
Prohibited items:
Alcohol
Marijuana
Glass containers
Open containers
Large coolers of food
Hard-sided coolers
Soft-sided coolers larger than 8.5” wide x 6” high x 6” deep
Coolers, suitcases, and bags with wheels
Please be advised that all bags and personal items are subject to x-ray and additional inspection.
What are the height requirements for the rides?
The following attractions have minimum height requirements:
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™: Must be 48″ (122 cm) tall.
Flight of the Hippogriff™: Must be 39″ (99 cm) tall.
Children 39-48″ (99-122 cm) must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion (14 years or older)
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem: Must be 40″ (102 cm) tall.
Children 40-48″ (102-122 cm) must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion (14 years or older)
Transformers™: The Ride-3D: Must be 40″ (102 cm) tall.
Children 40-48″ (102-122 cm) must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion (14 years or older)
The Simpsons Ride: Must be 40″ (102 cm) tall.
Children 40-48″ (102-122 cm) must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion (14 years or older)
Revenge of the Mummy℠ — The Ride: Must be 48″ (122 cm) tall.
Is there a way to skip the regular attraction lines?
Yes, a Universal Express™ ticket provides you with one-time express access to each ride and attraction and priority seating at select shows, in addition to all day admission to the Park.* Express access is a separate line with a shorter wait time at each ride and attraction and a priority seating area at select shows.
Only limited quantities of Universal Express™ tickets are available each day, so we recommend buying yours online in advance of arrival.
*Does not apply to food and retail locations or non-seated shows.
Do I have to purchase a ticket for my baby?
Children 2 years old or younger are allowed to enter the Park for free (no ticket needed).

Do you have locker facilities?
Yes, we do. Store all the day’s extras in one of our convenient lockers. You’ll be glad you did! Lockers accept both cash and credit cards.
Locker sizes are as follows:
$8 Lockers: Height – 12¾” Width – 11″ Length – 16½”
$12 Lockers: Height – 16″ Width – 8″ Length – 16″
$15 Lockers: Height – 21½” Width – 11″ Length – 16″
Lockers are one price for the day with unlimited in/out privileges. Lockers are limited to availability.
Do you rent strollers and/or wheelchairs?
Yes, we do. Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent just inside the Park, across from the Universal Studios Store. The rental fee for strollers and wheelchairs are:
Single Strollers – $15
Double Strollers – $25
Wheelchairs – $15
ECVs – $60
There is a $25.00 refundable deposit fee for wheelchair rentals
How do you accommodate guests with disabilities?
Universal Studios Hollywood prides itself on providing complete and convenient access for all our guests with disabilities.
Many rides, shows, attractions, escalators and parking structures are designed to comfortably accommodate guests in wheelchairs and other disabilities. There are designated guests-with-disabilities entrances for all our attractions in the Park.
Are service animals allowed in the Park?
Service Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood.
Additionally, there are specific entry/boarding requirements for each attraction to assist the service animal’s owner in making an informed decision about their animal’s safe admission. Please consult the listing for each ride and attraction in our Rider’s Guide for Rider Safety and Guests with Disabilities or our designated entrance signs for more information.
Are there items I can’t bring into the Park?
Please note the following restrictions:
All bags, backpacks and packages will be x-rayed and/or inspected prior to entering the Park.
We recommend you leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk.
The following items are not permitted: any type of explosive or weapon, alcoholic beverages, marijuana, illegal drugs, clothing likely to create a danger or disturbance, clothing that may create a false impression of employment by Universal or as emergency personnel, segways (unless utilized as an ADA mobility device), hoverboards and drones.
Selfie sticks are permitted at Universal’s discretion but must be stowed on rides and attractions and the Studio Tour.
