Q. If we purchase online, when and how do we get tickets?

After payment, you will receive your ticket with a Q-R code by email. Print this ticket and bring it with you to show the driver, when boarding the bus. Or if you have a smart phone, then present the ticket with the QR code on your mobile phone to our driver, who will scan the QR code and let you onto the bus.

Q: Can I purchase a ticket on the bus

Yes, you can hop on at any of our designated stops and get your tickets from your friendly driver. All drivers have credit card machines, so they are equipped to take cash or credit. We also have Sales offices at Stop#1 in front of Dolby Theatre, 6801 Hollywood Blvd: Stop#15: At 6231 Hollywood Blvd. next to Pantages Theatre &  Santa Monica terminal: Near Stop#57 on Santa Monica Pier, Unit 322. opposite Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Q: Can I purchase a Hop-On  Hop-Off bus ticket which includes attraction entrance tickets?

As many attractions are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have suspended the sale of our attractions pass. As soon as they are open again we intended to reinstate our attractions pass

Q. Am I guaranteed a seat if I have a ticket?

Our seating is available on a first-come first-served basis. We do increase our departures during peak season to accommodate increased interest, but unfortunately seating cannot be guaranteed for any specific departure or pick up location. On our Day Tours, seating can be guaranteed if purchased in advance.

Q: What is the duration of the tour?

(1) Hollywood Tour 2 hours, (2) Santa Monica Tour 2 hours.

Q: How many hop-on and off stops are there?

There are 31 City Sightseeing bus stops around Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

Q: How does Hop On - Hop Off work?

Your ticket is valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours depending on your purchase. You may get off at any stop, explore and when ready show the same ticket to get on the next arriving bus at any stop. Your time starts from the first time you Hop-On to a bus and your driver scans your ticket so if you were to buy a 24 hour ticket and ride the bus at 11:30am it would be valid till 11:30am the next day

Q: Can I tell which route each bus is on?

Yes. The bus destination will be displayed on a sign at the front of the bus and on the left-hand side next to the front door.

Q: Do your tours operate all year round?

Yes.  We operate throughout the whole year (with the exception of selected dates shown in the timetable)

Q: Can we join the tour at any stop?

Yes, the tour commentary is associated to the stops, so if you stay on the bus you will always hear the full commentary.

Q: How is it best to use the hop-on and off feature?

If you are unfamiliar with the city of Los Angeles, we recommend you Get on the bus stop nearest to you, then take one complete Tour round the full loop and listen to the commentary. You can then decide which places of interest you may want to visit, so you can hop-off to see them up-close to then hop back on the bus. You can take as many loops on the bus as you wish during the validity of your ticket.

Q: Will we be able to recognize the bus stops?

Due to city ordinances we are not able to display any signs to denote our stops. We do however include the exact address of each stop in our brochure along with a description of the closest point of interest so please keep your brochure with you while on tour with us. You can get a brochure from any one of our sales locations or on the bus!

Q: How long is my ticket valid for?

The online ticket is valid for a period of 3 months from the selected date of travel. Once presented and scanned its valid for the length of tour purchased.

Q: How many different languages are offered on the Hop On -  Hop Off tours?

We have 9 languages: English, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Portuguese

Q: Do the tour buses offer hotel pick up?

No, because we have to operate a tour route and schedules are agreed with the local authorities. However, usually the main hotels are situated close to a City Sightseeing bus stop.

Q: Do you have any offices where I can seek assistance

Yes, Stop#1, 6801 Hollywood Blvd., near  Stop#57 Santa Monica terminal on Santa Monica Pier unit 322. opposite Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Stop#15, 6231 Hollywood Blvd.next to Pantages Theatre.
