2nd Day. Monterey to Solvang. 214 miles.*Scenic Highway One *Big Sur Coast *Coastal Redwoods *San Simeon. *Tour No. 1 of Hearst Castle, ideal for first time visitors with an easy walk, a total of about 150 steps. About 2 hours. Via San Luis Obispo we reach Solvang at about 5:00. B.W. King Fredrik Motel, Solvang. 3rd Day. Solvang to Los Angeles. 135 miles.  Spend a morning is Solvang, a delightful village of Brunch Danish Heritage with gift shops galore. *Afternoon tour of two wineries and tasting. On to Santa Barbara for a short visit. Through Oxnard and Woodland Hills. Arrive Doubletree Santa Monica at 6:30, Renaissance Hotel - L.A. Airport by 7:00 p.m Close to various rental car companies and for connections by shuttles to hotels in greater Los Angeles area. Arrive Anaheim Clarion Hotel by 8:00.
