Starline Tours has joined with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) to bring you the ultimate movie-lovers tour of Los Angeles. The tour brings many of Los Angeles' greatest movie locations to life as we pass them in our custom bus while viewing the related movie clips on a 65" HDTV. This experience is complemented by our expert tour guide who provides the kind of expert commentary and behind-the-scenes insights that TCM is known for. There are also multiple video segments featuring TCM host Ben Mankiewicz, whose family has a long and illustrious connection to the movie industry, providing additional insights and a true insider's point of view.

Los Angeles is made up of many neighborhoods which are used for creating the many different moods and locations of Hollywood movies. This tour covers:

Hollywood: The "Home" of the movies, with its movies palaces and movie studios, as well as its famous main street - Hollywood Blvd.

Downtown LA: Hollywood's premiere movie locations where the urban core has historic streetscapes and landmark buildings in some areas, and modern skyscrapers and forward-thinking architecture in other areas allowing the city to represent not only the LA of yesterday, today and tomorrow but also cities like New York and Tokyo. The tour includes two stops Downtown to visit the interiors of two of the most spectacular movie locations in Los Angeles - the Bradbury Building & Union Station.

Wilshire Corridor: The "backbone" of Los Angeles with buildings from the 1920's & 1930's, as well as urban parks and ethnic neighborhoods.

Angelino Heights: A residential neighborhood in the shadow of Downtown Los Angeles with many original wooden clapboard houses - some of them Victorian.

Echo Park: Centered around its famous lake & park, this was a popular silent-movie location in the early days of Hollywood.

Silverlake: Home of many of the early movie studios, and now a popular bohemian neighborhood.

Griffith Park (viewed from a distance): home to the iconic Hollywood Sign & landmark Griffith Observatory.

The bus for this Movie Locations Tour is a "one-of-a-kind" vehicle custom-designed for the needs of this tour. Special features include:

65" HDTV with ultra-bright screen to allow clear viewing of the movie clips.

Stadium seating so that every person on the bus has a clear view of the screen.

Panoramic windows, including retractable side windows and skylight windows to allow maximum viewing of the movie locations - especially in the streets of Downtown LA.

Elevated jump-seat for Tour Guide to be clearly viewed by all passengers.
